Psalm 23:2 "He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside the still waters."
About Us
First established in 1933 as a Brethren Hall, Kingscroft Chapel has been home to many Christians throughout the years.
As we look back and thank God for the purchasing and use of the land as a place of Christian worship, we too hope to encourage and praise God to the coming generations (Psalm 78:1-8).
We are currently a body of Christian believers, who have come from different denominational backgrounds, forming a non-denominational Church.
We have a diversity of ages, with different skillsets and gifting. Our desire is to be salt and light (Matthew 5:13-16) to our neighbours, local town centre and surrounding towns and villages.
We are currently led by Matthew Code, a young man (33)who will be starting his final year of training at London Seminary from September 2023.

About Us

What We Believe
1. We believe the Bible, consisting of both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.

2. We believe the Bible is the source of all understanding for righteousness, correcting and training, for both men and women to live by (2 Timothy 3:16).

3. We believe there is One God, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
4. We believe God created man in His image (Genesis 1:26-27).

5. We believe man was tempted in the garden of Eden and fell into sin and disobedience (Genesis 3:6-7); impacting the whole of creation ever since (Romans 8:19-23).

6. We believe there is only one way to get right with God as a result of the fall. We believe this is through The Lord Jesus Christ and Him alone (John 14:6).

7. We believe Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh (John 1:14); who was born of the virgin Mary (Luke 1:27-35), (Luke 2:7).

8. We believe that Salvation for the lost comes through the proclamation and spreading of the Word (Romans 10:17); and an individual must be born again through The Holy Spirit (John 3:3).

9. We believe there is no forgiveness for sin without the shedding of blood (Hebrews 9:22). We believe the only sufficient sacrifice was through the death of The Lord Jesus Christ; (Isaiah 53), (John 1:29), (Revelation 5:6-10).

10. We believe that The Lord Jesus Christ died and rose again on the third day (Matthew 12:40) and ascended into Heaven to sit at the right hand of God (Mark 16:19), (Acts 7:55-56).

11. We believe the sacraments of baptism and the breaking of bread (also known as The Lord's Supper or Holy Communion), were given to the Church for confessing believers as means to share in fellowship and remember The Lord's death until He returns (Acts 2:41), (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

12. We believe in the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed of 381AD and affirm that Salvation is the act of God's Grace for man (Ephesians 2:1-9).
